WENTZVILLE, MO (KMOX) - A show of Congressional support at the GM assembly plant in Wentzville Sunday. Missouri Congresswoman Cori Bush teamed up Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, who tells Face the Nation it's high time for Detroit's Big Three to turn the tide.
Ocasio-Cortez says "what we've seen at the big three are CEOs giving themselves as much as a 40 percent wages and compensation increase, while workers have actually seen a real wage decrease over the last ten to fifteen years."
As President Biden prepares to hit the picket line with auto workers in Detroit on Tuesday, Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez calls this a historic event because "we have never seen a president show up like this."
