ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - For most Cardinals fans right now, the only name they associated with the Cardinals baseball stadium is Busch Stadium.
Luckily for Cardinals fans, despite plenty of issues when it comes to the team on the field and the future of Cardinals games being on television, a name change of the stadium won't be one of those issues.
On Wednesday, the Cardinals announced that the franchise and Anheuser-Busch have agreed to extend their naming rights partnership for another six years, extending the agreement to 2030.
The agreement maintains Anheuser-Busch’s exclusivity on all alcoholic beverage advertising on all Cardinals radio and television broadcasts, promotions, use of the team logo, and stadium signage, along with an extension of Busch Stadium naming rights.
It will also include a five-year extension of Anheuser-Busch’s marketing agreement with Ballpark Village. The agreement will let Anheuser-Busch’s rights advertise a variety of beer brands, as well as the continuation of the Budweiser Brewhouse Restaurant, Bud Deck Rooftop and Sports & Social.
“We are honored to continue our partnership with Anheuser-Busch, which is such an important part of our identity as an organization,” stated Cardinals President Bill DeWitt III. “For over 70 years, Anheuser-Busch has championed the success of the Cardinals and the St. Louis community, and we are thrilled that this will continue for many more years.”
