SAINT LOUIS, MO (KMOX) - The vendor who raised eyebrows by selling large containers of CBD buds at the Soulard Market over the weekend, won't be back for at least a little while.

The city has put the vendor's permit to sell in the market on hold, until it can make sure he has everything needed to be there. Parks Department Director Greg Hayes says everything appeared to be legit, but a sign offering a strain of CBD called Delta 8, which is legal and not regulated, prompted a second look, "his paperwork as we said in the statement didn't list Delta 8, which triggered us to take a look at this more closely to make sure everything is in order."

Hayes says they will look further into the paperwork and find out exactly what the vendor was offering last Saturday. He can't say when -- or even if -- that vendor will be back.
