KIRKWOOD (KMOX) -- Kirkwood Police are seeking charges against a woman in the Monday morning shooting death of a man on the lawn of home in the 700 block of Angenette.
The St. Louis County Prosecutors Office says Kirkwood Police have applied for warrants against a woman in what's being called a homicide case, and a "domestic case"
Neighbors reported hearing a rapid succession of five or six shots around 10:30 Monday, and they say the home had been the source of audible arguing in the past, with the sound of people shouting.
The home was being used at the time of the killing as an informal day care center. Several parents came and picked up their children after the shooting.
No one from Kirkwood Police was available for comment.
No formal charges have been filed while further evidence is collected.
