ST. CHARLES (KMOX) - The massive Riverpointe redevelopment near Main Street in St. Charles has a new tenant: Chicken N Pickle.
The indoor/outdoor entertainment complex with a chef-driven restaurant, sports bar and yard game venue is bringing a new location to the riverfront. it will be the Kansas City-based company's seventh location.
Chicken N Pickle Saint Charles will be equipped with bars, pavilions, multiple dining areas on the main floor and a rooftop dining experience, along with outdoor tables for guests to enjoy. The venue will feature numerous indoor and outdoor pickleball courts, shuffleboard and Bocce ball courts, and a variety of lawn games.
Chicken N Pickle estimates it will generate over 700,000 visitors annually and create over 150 jobs in the community.
The new location will be part of the 120-acre Riverpointe development near the Katy Trail, Ameristar Casino and Historic St. Charles.
Born in Kansas City in late 2017, Chicken N Pickle’s original location has become a wildly popular destination for families, young adults and corporate gatherings. The company’s first move outside of Kansas City was to Wichita, KS in 2019, then San Antonio, TX in 2020 and Oklahoma City, OK in 2021, with new stores in Overland Park, KS and Grand Prairie, TX expected to open late 2021.
