Missouri Congresswoman Cori Bush says she's working tirelessly to hold Amazon accountable for the six people that died in the company's Edwardsville warehouse during a tornado last December. But she said those efforts seem to be falling on deaf ears.

Back in March, Bush and other congressional leaders launched an oversight investigation into Amazon's labor practices. Bush said Amazon hasn't been the most cooperative.

"We've been keeping up the pressure, let's just say that," Bush said. "But even with that, the investigation has been repeatedly delayed by Amazon. They sent unhelpful documents, they sent documents that didn't give all the information."

Bush cited OSHA's investigation, which found several gaps in Amazon's safety procedures. She added that it doesn't take an investigation to show that the company is not including storm shelters in the rebuilt Edwardsville warehouse.

Bush introduced legislation last week to improve worker safety in reaction to the six deaths in the tornado last year. Hear more from her conversation about Amazon on KMOX:
