The Missouri Botanical Garden got a surprise this week — one of their corpse flowers has begun to bloom.

In a Facebook post, the Garden said the flower, called “Luna,” wasn’t expected to bloom this year. Corpse flowers have an “infamous, odoriferous scent” that visitors will be able to experience sometime in the next two weeks.

The corpse flower was a gift from the Chicago Botanical Garden and is a cross between one of their corpse flowers and one from the Denver Botanic Garden.
