After Arkansas was denied federal recovery aid from the Marth 14th's storm, could Missouri also be rejected? Governor Mike Kehoe is confident the bipartisan push will be successful.

"We think we have a good application. Our entire congressional delegation, a Republican and Democrat by the way, also sent a letter to the President, to the administration."

Democratic Congressman Wesley Bell says the coalition gives him optimism but he remains concerned.

"Until the money is delivered, the resources are delivered, yeah I'm gonna be concerned," said Bell, adding "folks in this district need those resources.

So when will Missouri learn its fate? Congressman Bell says he has not heard of any timeline for a decision to be made.

"We'll keep the pressure on and keep the dialog and lines of communication open and we hope to hear something soon."

Governor Kehoe is preaching patience.

"Sometimes these things take a long time."

Tornados from March 14th's storm brought over a dozen tornados across Missouri, some causing significant damage locally in St. Louis County and Jefferson County.
