Dr. Fauci will give lecture to WashU students in St. Louis

ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - Dr. Anthony Fauci will be giving a virtual lecture to Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis on Thursday.

The live video conference with the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases will take place from 8 - 8:45 a.m. and be available for anyone in the general public to watch.

Fauci will give the Gerland Medoff Visiting Professor virtual lecture, titled "Insights into the COVID-19 Pandemic." They will discuss the pandemic, as well as its impact on the fields of public health and infectious diseases.

Fauci has garnered popularity in helping lead the country's fight against the COVID-19 pandemic. He turned 80 last month.
