East St. Louis, Ill. (KMOX) - A month long investigation results in the arrest of a St. Louis man for a shooting death in East St. Louis.
Illinois State Police say 35-year-old Cornell Irving is charged with first-degree murder in the death of 19-year-old Trenadi Bateman of Collinsville.
Bateman was located November 10th in the 4000 block of State Street.
The St. Clair County state's attorney says if convicted, Irving could be sentenced from 45 years to life in prison.
