Edwards says he's thrilled about Wash U Loop purchases

The man dubbed 'the Duke of Delmar' has sold six properties - mostly office and retail buildings - to an arm of Washington University. Joe Edwards tells Total Information PM on KMOX he's "thrilled and delighted" because he wants to see the Loop continue well into the future.

"For me to have them take over these building for the next decades or centuries is very meaningful because they're going to continue everything I've done to refine these buildings, to save them, to fix them up.... ...I couldn't be happier."

One of the buildings sold will continue to have an Edwards-run Pin-Up Bowl as the tenant. Edwards says he continues to own Blueberry Hill, Moonrise Hotel, and the Pageant entertainment venue.
