ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - "My father used to have a saying. If you can live through February, you can live another year."

Those are the inspirational words of KMOX's Kevin Killeen, who in 2016 wrote an ode to the month February. Year after year, the video becomes a viral hit in St. Louis.
But this year it has been picked up by a national audience.
It's an episode of Killeen's daily "Whole Nother Story" segment, which sometimes highlights the odd or under-the-radar happenings in and around St. Louis. This one puts the spotlight on the shortest month of the year.
"February is the worst month of the year. But it's an honest month. It's a month that doesn't hold up life any better than it really is," Killeen says. "Look around here. These buildings, they look like they don't even have any lights in them during a work day. Something great happened here. But it's over with and that's the way February is."
