Police find missing St. Louis County children, mother who left suicide note

ST. JOHN, Mo. (KMOX) updated - The Missouri State Highway Patrol announced at 4:22 p.m. that all subjects were located and are safe.

Authorities are searching for a mother and her two young children from St. Louis County after the woman left a suicide note Thursday morning.

An endangered person advisory has been issued for Kaleb Johnson, 5, and Kylief Johnson, 4. Police are also looking for their mother 25-year-old Joyce Johnson, a Black woman, 5'11", 130 lbs, black hair, brown eyes.

Police say she sent a suicide note via text to her mother Thursday morning and stated that the children would be found and brought to her.

They were last seen at 2929 Ridgeway St. in north St. Louis County.

Anyone seeing the missing persons, associate, or vehicle, or anyone having any information related to the endangered missing person should immediately dial 911 to contact the nearest law enforcement agency or call the St. John Police Department at 636-529-8210.
