JEFFERSON CITY (KMOX) -- KMOX News has learned the grand jury that indicted Kim Gardner's special investigator with perjury is not happy that the Circuit Attorney may get just a reprimand for her misconduct in the case.
In response to a public records request by KMOX host Charlie Brennan, the court has released a letter sent by the seven grand jurors who indicted William Tisaby.
The letter, sent to the Office of Disciplinary Counsel, says "we urge you to consider much stronger disciplinary action in this case."
The grand jurors say Gardner's conduct during the Eric Greitens sex trial, for which she has admitted not sharing evidence on time, was "not inadvertent nor inconsequential, but was calculated deceit and/or out right incompetence."
The letter was dated April 12, the day after Gardner was offered a plea deal of a reprimand, a deal that would still have to be approved by the Missouri Supreme Court.
