Katherine Pinner, the unexpected Republican nominee for St. Louis County Executive had decided to drop-out after she was criticized at party gatherings. Then earlier this week KMOX reported Pinner's decided to stick with it.
She's also decided to stick with her winning strategy. in the face of a well-funded and well- known opponent -- this november, that'd be incumbent Democrat Sam Page - she'll eschew fundraising and advertisements and instead go door to door.
The general election is November 8th.
