When Grant's Farm opens this weekend, it'll feature something new: A drone show.
The event, called "Grant's Farm in the Sky: A Drone Show Spectacular" will be featured on Friday and Saturday nights. Grant's Farm President Doug Stagner says it will be "uniquely St. Louis" and just like a fireworks show, with the drones performing highly choreographed movements to music and creating scenes.
Stagner told the St. Louis Business Journal that he got the idea at the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions' annual trade show in November. He wouldn't say how much the drone show will cost them, but it'll cost visitors $12 a ticket to attend.
