UNION, Mo. (KMOX) - There's been a development in a Franklin County homicide case from 1987.
Sheriff Steve Pelton says 67-year-old Kirby King entered a guilty plea Friday to counts of manslaughter and felonious restraint.
A team of cold case investigators identified and arrested King in late December 2019 for the death of Karla Delcour.
Her remains were found west of Saint Clair. Delcour had been strangled.
In announcing the plea, Sheriff Pelton said in a release that the case will be remembered as a testament to the unwavering commitment for truth and justice.
