ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - A St. Louis Police officer is recovering after overdosing last weekend.
KMOX has confirmed the overdose happened Saturday in a restroom inside police headquarters at 19th and Olive.
The officer was not in uniform and it's not known whether they were on duty, but the officer was found unresponsive in the bathroom and had to be administered Narcan several times.
The St. Louis Police Department public information office will not confirm that it was an overdose, but say there was a medical emergency and that the officer has been released from the hospital.
