JEFFERSON COUNTY, Mo. (KMOX) - The health of a Jefferson County Sheriff's Deputy wounded in a shootout with a suspect last week is "headed in the right direction."

"He still hasn't eaten since last Friday, so we need positive thoughts and prayers, but we are headed in the right direction. Family donations can be made at Fortune Bank 3494 Jeffco Blvd. in Arnold, Mo.," the post on Facebook states.
Faulkner was shot while serving a warrant at a home near Cedar Hill in attempt to locate missing Tanya Gould, 31, and Jerry Crew, 36.
The suspect, Anthony Legens, was killed in the ensuing shootout with deputies. A woman's body was found in Legens home. She has not yet been identified.
