ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - Joe Buck and Mike Claiborne have been longtime staples of broadcasting both nationally and in St. Louis.

Now they are Hall of Famers as the Missouri Broadcaster's Association announced it's 2024 Hall of Fame Class, with Buck and Claiborne both a part of its seven person class.

Joining Buck and Claiborne are Kansas City meteorologist Bryan Busby, Kansas City anchor Annie Peterson, Missouri’s former EAS committee chairman Bob Moore, Springfield anchor Bob Moore, and former KMOX personality and KTRS host Wendy Weise.

Buck, son of the late great Jack Buck and a lifelong St. Louisan, spent 16 years broadcasting Cardinals baseball on radio and TV before becoming the national presence he is now, from calling Super Bowl's and World Series' during his 26 years calling games for FOX, to his current role calling Monday Night Football games for ESPN.

Buck was a finalist for the Ford C. Frick Award this year for his contributions to baseball as a broadcaster.

Claiborne has been a longtime staple on Cardinals broadcast since he joined the Cardinals Radio Network in 2006. Before that, he was the co-host of Sports Open Line when he originally joined in 1981, and served in various on-air roles covering SLU and UMSL basketball, the St. Louis Blues, the then-St. Louis Rams and the St. Louis Cardinals.

The Hall of Fame Induction Banquet will take place Friday, May 31 in Osage Beach, Missouri.
