One day after the Blues announced that they would begin simulcasting a single game broadcast on both TV and radio, the team's beloved, longtime play-by-play broadcaster John Kelly makes a statement on social media.

Most of Kelly's words are centered on his gratefulness for the job he held for 21 years, as well as acknowledging his family legacy, but he also adds that broadcasting hockey is his passion and his journey is not over.

Chris Kerber and Joey Vitale, who had been exclusively on the radio, will now provide a broadcast that goes out over both TV and radio.

Jaime Rivers, who had been the television game analyst, will now work as a studio analyst, rotating with Bernie Federko and Chris Pronger in pre-and post-game shows which will hosted by Scott Warmann with Andy Strickland reporting. Alexa Datt is no longer part of the Blues' broadcasts.
