O'FALLON, Mo. (KMOX) - An undocumented immigrant is charged with Assault and Armed Criminal Action, following a double stabbing in O'Fallon, Missouri Sunday afternoon.
Police say Jose Barrera assaulted two victims inside Highlander Laundry on Sonderen Street. He allegedly engaged in a brief exchange with one of the victims before the physical attack.
That person ran outside, Barrera followed, and alleegedly stabbed that person in the back. When the second victim interviened, they were also stabbed in the back. Both people's injuries are non life theatening
Barrera had a Homeland Security issued detainer, recognizing him as undocumented, who entered through Eagle Pass, Texas.
