ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - After months of discussion, delays and squabbling about funding, the expansion of America's Center is well underway.
Brian Hall, Chief Marketing Officer of Explore St. Louis, gave KMOX's own Debbie Monterrey a tour of the expansion project at convention center.
The $240 million expansion and facelift is underway with plans to add 72,000 square feet of new exhibit space, an outdoor gathering space, a food garden, additional loading docks and enhancement of the Washington Avenue entrance.
The expansion is scheduled to be completed by early 2024.
