Lionel Richie is reportedly in the I.C.U. after his weekend performance at The Muny.
T.M.Z. reports the singer checked himself into a hospital after his Saturday night show in Forest Park.
Audacy St. Louis's Alex Rich was in the audience and says Richie was constantly being handed electrolyte drinks.
"A waiter would come out on the stage and bring [Richie] what almost looked like Robitussin. He was drinking it and explained it was electrolytes."
He adds Richie said he suffered from dehydration earlier this year and he needed a chair for his final song, All Night Long.
"He finished with his classic song 'All Night Long,' which is upbeat, dancing the whole night had good energy. At the end he pulled out his piano chair."
He says despite this there was nothing in Richie's performance that would lead you to believe he would be hospitalized.
Sources tell T.M.Z. doctors are evaluating him for slight dehydration, and he hopes to be discharged on Tuesday.
