FERGUSON, MO (KMOX) - Some of the fresh salad greens you may eat at local farm-to-table restaurants isn't being trucked in from rural Missouri. It's being farmed in Ferguson.

"People need healthy, great, local food." Jill Duncan, is owner of Loving Roots Urban Farm -- operating on land rented from a 14-acre organic farm school. "I specialize in greens production. People know me for salad mixes and these beautiful head lettuces, and cooking greens like rainbow chard and collards and kale."
Along with restaurant orders, Duncan offers an online site for individual customers to pre-order and pick up at Winslow's Table on Delmar each week.
