The city of St. Louis is hiring for over 100 seasonal jobs.
The Department of Personnel is hosting a hiring fair on Friday.
Tonya McNairy-Farr, the department's Senior Human Resources Specialist, told KMOX they're looking to fill positions in the Parks, Recreation and Forestry departments.
"These roles are going to be the positions that keep the city going in the summertime. So we're looking at a lot of landscape-type backgrounds."
McNairy-Farr said there's a job for everyone.
"If they are drivers, they can apply for any of the departments but non-drivers will apply for the forestry department."
Most of the jobs require applicants to be 18-year or older, but the lifeguard positions start as young as 15.
She said utility worker positions pay $16.91 per hour, recreational positions pay $16.68 per hour, and lifeguarding pays $17 per hour.
"While they are working season roles, we also do encourage to apply for the full-time roles. So we do have a lot of people who will get hired on with the department," McNairy-Farr said.
The hiring fair will take place at the SLATE Missouri Job Center from 9 a.m. to noon.
