ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - Police announced a man has been arrested in connection to the fatal shooting of a St. Louis man and his 7-year-old daughter in January.
St. Louis police say 28-year-old Javonn Nettles faces two counts of first-degree murder and two counts of armed criminal action. He allegedly shot and killed Darrion Rankin-Fleming, 26, and Dmyah Fleming, 7, who were in a parked car in the Central West End on Jan. 24.
The father was pronounced dead at the scene and the little girl was taken to the hospital where she later died.
Police has not announced a cause or motive for the incident.
The Rankin-Fleming family has set up a GoFundMe page to help pay for the funeral expenses.
