BERKELEY, Mo. (KMOX) - An attempted robbery turned into a homicide in Berkeley, according to investigators.
St. Louis County Police say they've taken over the investigation of Saturday afternoon's incident at the request of Berkeley Police.
Officers say the male victim tried to fight-off the robbery attempt and was shot dead.
It happened in the 4400 block of North Hanley, just before two Saturday afternoon.
