The final firearm seized from Mark and Patricia McCloskey after their famous 2020 confrontation with protesters outside their Central West End home has been returned, according to an announcement from Mark McCloskey.

"After 1882 days, three lawsuits and 2 trips to the Court of Appeals the .380 finally comes home!" he wrote in a social media post. "Reunited at last, and the Sheriff himself came down [to] congratulate me on the return!"

The Bryco .380-caliber pistol was confiscated along with an AR-15 rifle after the couple pleaded guilty to misdemeanor charges. Though they were later pardoned by Missouri's governor and had their records expunged, a lengthy legal battle was required to recover the firearms.

The pistol's return follows that of their AR-15 rifle earlier this year.
