FENTON, Mo. (KMOX) - The Meramec River is expected to crest Monday, after last week's heavy rains and flooding.
The Meramec at Arnold and at Fenton is up so high, some parks have closed and the barrels are up. So are the blockades.
In Fenton, the feed mill is open, but the water crept up near the road, just across the street.
Owner Dan Diehl says they always have a plan. One year, they brought baby chicks from the feed mill into their house to keep them safe from the rising water.
