MISSING: Edwardsville Police ask for help to find man in need

EDWARDSVILLE, Ill. (KMOX) - Edwardsville police are asking for help finding a missing man. 48-year-old Grady Giger was last seen walking in the 900 block of Esic Drive at 1 p.m. Wednesday afternoon.

Giger has medical issues that need immediate attention. He's white with dark brown short hair and glasses, 5-feet 10 inches and 280 pounds. He was last seen wearing blue jeans, blue shirt with black suspenders.​

The Edwardsville Police Department is seeking the assistance of the public in locating a missing adult. On Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at 4:49p.m., the Edwardsville Police Department responded to the 900 block of Esic Drive, in reference to a missing person report. The missing subject is a Grady Giger who was last seen walking in the 900 block of Esic Drive around 1:00p.m.

Giger often takes short walks and likes to frequent comic book stores, local gas stations, and restaurants but usually returns home within two hours. Giger is not in possession of his daily medication, which he needs to take on a regular basis. Giger also has ties to the Alton area.
