ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - The Missouri Silver Haired Legislature is calling for higher cigarette tax.
The legislature is advocacy group that has been around for 50 years. The group advocates for older adults in the state, with all of the members in the group being at least 60 years old.
The Silver Haired Legislature has been instruments in winning passage of measures important to its constituents, including a property tax freeze for seniors.
