ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - Police in St. Louis are asking for help to identify and locate a suspect who allegedly tried to pull off armed robberies at multiple McDonald's on consecutive mornings.
The St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department shared multiple photos of the suspect described as a Black male between 18- and 25-years-old, distinct spiderweb tattoo on his right elbow, along with various unknown tattoos above it. Police say both times the man armed with a handgun climbed through the drive-thru window of the restaurant and demanded money from employees.

The first incident happened on Thursday around 4:52 a.m. at the McDonald's at 4006 Lindell Blvd., near Saint Louis University's campus. The second happened just north of downtown St. Louis at 1119 N. Tucker Blvd.
In Thursday's incident the suspect ordered a employee to open a safe and took money, police say. In the second incident the suspect was unsuccessful with taking anything. Police say both times the suspect jumped back out the drive-thru window into a silver SUV and drove away.

Police also noted that the SUV is missing its gas cap:
