Charges were filed Saturday against a St. Louis man accused of killing a bicyclist by running him over with a car.
The incident happened late Thursday in the Dutchtown neighborhood. St. Louis police say they responded to an alley in the rear of a South Grand home to find the victim, a damaged garage, and the abandoned car.
The circuit attorney's office charged 50-year-old Edward Duncan with first degree murder and armed criminal action. He's being held in jail without bond.
Court documents show Duncan admitted to having a confrontation with the bicyclist in another location before chasing him down.
