ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - SUE, the largest, most well preserved T-Rex ever discovered will have an entire exhibit dedicated to it this summer at the St. Louis Science Center.

The exhibit includes more than just SUE but also a recreation of the world SUE lived in according to the Science Center's Kaylia Eskew.

"Not only are you going to see these full sized SUE casts which is 40 feet long, but you can smell the world that Sue lived in and you can feel the fur of [prehistoric] mammals" said Eskew.

A whole exhibit around SUE and her world will be brought to life in a way you can see, hear, feel and even smell. You can smell SUE's breath during one of the exhibits. Eskew gives you a sense of how SUE's breath smells.

"An old gym locker, rotten meat, a dump site, if you can kind of imagine all of those together. So what we're getting is a lot of the bacteria that would've been in the T-Rex teeth. T-Rex did not chew their food they just bit down and ripped." said Eskew.

SUE was found in modern day South Dakota and Eskew with the Science Center says you can not only see her skeleton but they'll be able to point out her injuries.

"That is going to be on the large skeletal SUE, so what that is going to do is highlight the different areas of SUE that has been injured over the years." Eskew adds, "SUE survived to about 28 years old, and we can actually tell that from rings inside the dinosaur bones."
