The newly named Circuit Attorney for St. Louis is scheduled to take the oath of office Tuesday morning.
The day he was named to serve out the remaining term, Gabe Gore told reporters he wants to rebuild the office, "I will focus on building a staff of attorneys and professionals. Secondly, I'm really focused on building collaborative relationships."
Gore said that means seeking better relationships with police and the community.
Gore was appointed by Missouri Governor Mike Parson as interim Circuit Attorney to fill the term of Kim Gardner. Gardner resigned from the post amid allegations of mismanagement.
Gore is scheduled to be sworn in at eleven Tuesday morning.
