ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - Major Case Squad of Greater St. Louis released a photo of a suspect who is connected to a fatal shooting that took place in Collinsville, Illinois earlier this week.
On Tuesday, Jan. 21, shortly after 6 a.m., Collinsville Police Department responded to call at the 1300 block of Olive Street after reports of gun shots being heard in area.
When officers arrived, they discovered a female victim, later identified as 32-year-old Portia L. Rowland, lying near the garage at 1301 Olive Street, suffering from a gunshot wound.
The Collinsville Police Department would later request the assistance of Major Case Squad of Greater St. Louis.
