SUNSET HILLS, Mo. (KMOX) - A pair of suspects were arrested after stealing from a store in Sunset Hills then attempting to take a vehicle on Tuesday afternoon.
Steven Jamison, 34, and Denise Heggins, 29, are each charged with two felonies for vehicle hijacking and stealing. They are being held at the St. Louis County Justice Center on a $25,000.00 bond.
The incident happened at 4:47 p.m. at the Marchalls in Sunset Hills Plaza. Jamison and Heggins stole at $750 from the store then ran into the parking lot and tried to steal a car.
The victim inside the vehicle had a struggle with them suspects and was able to hit the panic button on his car. A witness nearby called police.
Police say the suspects fled on foot and were soon caught by police.
