
ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - St. Louis County Police are investigating a fatal shooting in Fenton, Missouri that left one man dead.
On Friday Morning at 8:11 a.m., police officers were originally called to Highway 141 intersection near Gravois Bluffs Boulevard after reports of a traffic hazard. When officers arrived, they discovered a man with gunshot wounds.
The man, whose name has not yet been released yet, was transported to a hospital for life saving treatment but he died on route to the hospital.
Police say the man was involved in a road rage incident northbound on Highway 141 with another suspect. The two stopped their vehicles in the roadway and engaged in a verbal argument which resulted in the victim being shot by the suspect.
The suspect is in custody by police, but his name has not yet been released.
St. Louis County Police Department Crimes Against Persons detectives are still investigating the incident.
