Police seize $44,000 worth of stolen power tools from St. Louis-area home

O'FALLON, Mo. (KMOX) - Police have charged a man as the result of an investigation into organized retail theft at a St. Louis County Home Depot. About $44,000 worth of power tools were recovered from a home in St. Charles County.

The Sunset Hills Police Department shared photos on Facebook of a successful bust in which the power tools were found inside a home in the 2600 block of Breezy Pointe Ln. in O'Fallon. Police say most of the tools had never been unboxed and were slated for sale.

Police say $5,000 in cash was discovered and Kamran Mammadov was charged through St. Charles County with receiving stolen property over $25,000.
