St. Louis police have arrested an 18-year-old man for an incident that involved an officer firing his gun at the suspect. Davontee Robinson is charged with unlawful use of a weapon and 1st degree trespassing.
Police say Robinson fled an apartment building in the 5600 block of Enright near Delmar early Friday morning. He was armed with an A-R pistol.
When he refused a command to drop it, an officer fired several shots. Police say Robinson finally let go of the gun and was taken into custody, along with a juvenile female. A third suspect go away. No one was injured.
The suspect was found in possession of a key fob which was determined to belong to a vehicle that was reported stolen from St. Louis County and was found parked in the 5600 block of Enright. The AR pistol was recovered. The Force Investigation Unit responded and assumed this ongoing investigation.
