ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - The investigation continues into a fatal fire Saturday night inside an apartment in Soulard.
St Louis FIrefighters arrived to find smoke coming from the rear of the building, in the 18-hundred block of South 9th Street, they forced entry into the apartment and found a man fully engulfed in flames. They extinguished the fire, but it was too late, the man died from his injuries.
Regional Bomb and Arson is now handling the investigation, which is standard procedure when there is a fatality.
