St. Louis County Executive Sam Page explained what he knows about last week's resignation of his Chief of Staff Calvin Harris, who is being investigated for recording and possibly sharing a video of a sexual encounter in the Administration Building.

Page said he found out about the incident last Wednesday, the day he made Harris' resignation letter public. In the letter, Harris said he was quitting for family reasons. The County Executive said he did not think it was appropriate to provide further details, calling it an on-going investigation.
"On Wednesday, the Highway Patrol came to the 9th floor to see Calvin Harris, and as soon as they left I asked Cal what was up," Page said. "He told me there was a video and that he would be resigning."
Harris had only been in the position for about six months when the incident occurred. The name of the woman in the video has not been made public, but she has hired a lawyer. There are no details yet about who distributed the video.
