The St. Louis region could face some strong thunderstorms this morning. The National Weather Service says there's also the possibility of a tornado.
AccuWeather reports deadly storms spawned as many as 7 tornadoes causing substantial damage in Texas and Oklahoma on Sunday. That storm system is likely to fire up in the Midwest, and more tornadoes may be on the table.
The NWS has also issues a wind advisory in effect until 3 pm. We could have wind gusts of 20 to 30 miles per hour, reaching up to 50 miles per hour at times.
