Wentzville, Mo. (KMOX) - Wentzville police say they've detained several persons of interest in an early-morning shooting.
It took place around 1:30 Sunday in the 100 block of West Allen.
Officers say a verbal argument led to fight, then four or five shots were fired.
A male victim was taken to a hospital for treatment of a chest wound. He's said to be in stable condition.
There were traffic restrictions on West Allen, from North Church to North Linn, as crime scene investigators completed their work.
