ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - The St. Louis Municipal Police Department's holiday weekend detail resulted in 82 arrests heading into Sunday evening, with 52 of those persons being juveniles. Citations range from fireworks-related offenses to assault of a law enforcement officer.
While there's been an increased presence downtown, patrols continued Sunday night across all neighborhoods.
Police say 46 guns have been confiscated since Thursday... a 130% increase over last Independence Day holiday's number.
They seized ATV's and dirt bikes Saturday night for illegal riding on Washington Avenue.
