ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - Police are investigating after a man was shot and killed by a Saint Louis University security guard early Friday morning.
St. Louis police say the fatal incident happened just after midnight in the 3300 block of Locust, next to the Searls Hall building. They responded to a call for a "shooting" and found a male on the ground suffering from a gunshot wound. That man was described by police as the "suspect."
Police say the victim in the incident was the security guard who shot and killed the suspect. Police say he confronted the suspect due to him being armed. Police say suspect had two guns on him.
