There were questions about whether to dedicate the proceeds to law enforcement. County Executive Steve Ehlmann said there are other questions. "We can't tell you right now how much money this is going to raise or not raise. I think there are maybe two or three dispensaries that will be in the county. I have no idea how well they'll do or how poorly they'll do."

A special meeting will be held Tuesday, January 23rd to decide the matter. Chairman Terry Hollander agreed to the special meeting to consider dedicating the proceeds to law enforcement, "when it comes to earmarks if it's one of those kind of things that if we think that we need it to get it passed, that earmark being in there would make it more passable, then I think that's something we could consider."

That special meeting will be held 2 days before the deadline to get it on the ballot.
