Around 2:40 a.m. a vandal used cinder blocks and a scooter to bust through the windows at the Blues' home arena. A team store employee says some Blues gear including jerseys were stolen off mannequins. Police were able to track the suspect and arrest him by using surveillance cameras.

He was also arrested two weeks ago for vandalizing four buildings on or near Washington Avenue, police say. They are seeking charges of property damage.

At least three other prominent buildings around downtown were also vandalized overnight. City Hall, the Medical Examiner’s Officer, Rudman On the Park Apartment and the St. Louis Labor Department buildings were also damaged.

Police say they are looking through more surveillance footage.
