St. Louis (KMOX) - The St. Louis County Police Board will hold a special session on Monday, apparently to talk about problems facing the department.
The agenda for the special session lists no new business but it does call for a closed session "to review claims and lawsuits involving the police department ... and discuss employee personnel matters".
St. Louis County Police is being sued by Lt. Colonel Troy Doyle, who alleges he was passed over for the job as Police Chief because he's African-American.
A source familiar with the department says there is more to the situation.
It says a lot of complaints in the ranks from officers over transfers seen are as "discriminatory."
